The end, or the beginning?
After meeting with an admissions representative from Towson University, I was informed that pretty much all of my credits from MC will transfer over to Towson. That includes my illustration classes, as well as all of my arts courses that won't end up counting towards my degree at MC (go figure). So by my estimate, I only have a year and a half of school left before I get my Bachelors' and then I go out into the world. (I'm not sure how long it would be for VCU, since I haven't heard anything from them since February. I'm starting to get a bit worried.)
I realize that being a full-time illustrator right out of school is something that doesn't happen very often, but it's a goal that I have set for myself. It's ambitious, yes, but quite frankly anything less would be a disappointment. Two years ago I made a promise that I would not disappoint myself, and I intend to keep that promise.
I'm already making plans for my life at Towson (or VCU, should they decide to accept me), and I've even started making a few for life
after college. I know it will be here before I know it, so I need to be prepared to meet all of those goals I have set. In the meantime, though, I gotta keep my focus on the here and now. I can't go to Towson if I flunk all of my classes!
Stay classy, folks!

Towson wants a lot of their commitments in by mid to late May. I can try to buy some time but we've already put in $300 for enrollment. (In case VCU didn't take me, then I would be up a creek!)
Thanks!

The one downside to VCU is their often slow and incompetent application/financial finagling.
