Man, I love you guys.
Last Journal of 2009. I guess now I should start writing my New Years Resolutions. I resolve to draw more and sketch more, and to not worry about if my work is "stacking up" to what everyone else is doing. Everyone else does it, so I don't have to. I also resolve to not "tighten up" when sketching just because I know my sketchbooks will be evaluated by the faculty.
Oh, one more thing. It appears that Outlaw Press is using my artwork "Inner Demon" for the cover of their book "Trollgod's Gift". This was news to me, brought to my attention by some very awesome person from the RPGnet forums. Out of all the artwork they could have used that was posted on Elfwood and Epilogue, they chose mine. So in a way I was thinking "YES! My work is MARKETABLE!" before thinking, "Wow, they ripped the one off of Epilogue? I can't imagine how crappy the cover looks at 72 dpi...", before thinking "Holy crap, they just stole my artwork!"
So, um yeah. I'm not really "pissed" about it. It's more along the lines of befuddlement mixed with amusement. I just wish they would have, you know, given me at least a bit of credit for the artwork on the cover of their promo book.
Stay Classy Folks!

*UPDATE*
You can see the cover
here (PDF, mine is on page 28) along with all the other stuff Outlaw Press yoinked. I guess I'm in some pretty high company to have my worked hijacked with the likes of Terry Ernest and J.P. Targete.
Ahh, the sweet smell of burning, fiery justice.
And saves me a trip to Evansville, Indiana.
No, Outlaw Press is hard core! Outlaw Press keeps it real...
...right to the courtroom.
AH ha ha ha ha,
Good to know you're marketable though.
Your work is marketable mate, you don't need the likes of that dick, without payment for use or even permission this shouldn't mean shit to you.
With any luck he's going to reap what he sows. He ripped off an image painted by Jon Hodgson and the copyright owner is Games Workshop... I wouldn't want to be in his boots now.
