I've said it before, and I'll say it again. DA v4 was beautiful and nearly perfect in every way. Except for Channels and Groups. Those are pretty nifty. Otherwise, I still love v4. Bring it back! Especially the side panels when viewing deviations. Ahh, the good old days when you could access the Shoutbox from deviation windows and see who won the Deviousness award, Daily Deviations, and all that good stuff.
Seriously, though, I don't have any major grievances with v7. That doesn't mean I don't have my little gripes so far. The "deviantART" link in the top-left no longer goes to Channels,
which is a bit irritating because now I have to click a drop-down menu to access my custom Channels. (Now they have "Stick Menu" at the top, which makes me slightly less angry, but I did like the fact that the menu blended in a bit more to the top, and the reversed-out light green on dark gray isn't particularly eye-friendly. I guess I'm a stickler for such things.) I feel overwhelmed with all of the drop-down menus. Having to look for things gets tedious (Update Journal listed under "submit"?). I know I'll "get used to it" eventually but having to hover over things to get to other things gets on my nerves as it is now.
Also I wish Deviations were separated from other messages in the Inbox. Being able to click one link to see just the art in my Message Centre was nice instead of having to scroll down another drop-down menu.
Yup. I missed the beta test. I've just been to flipping busy.

On a semi-unrelated topic, I still get confused as snot when submitting artwork as to which category I have to pick for something to end up in a certain gallery. Especially when I want something to end up in the Traditional Art gallery and not in the Anthro gallery (not that I have anything against the Anthro gallery, but as the artist I feel I should be able to have control over where my work goes without having to navigate a tricky path that feels more like playing Plinko than sending my work to the appropriate gallery).
Stay classy, folks.

Ugh, at least I don't have some of the Creative Staff talking down to me on the issue.
Anyhows, v7 seem to suck.
