I haven't really posted an update about what's going on around here for a while.
I'm planning to do Illustration Academy this summer. It's here in Richmond but not on VCU's campus. At least I don't have to lease an apartment for a month and move to a city I've never been to, so it shouldn't be too bad. I just get kind of homesick when I'm away from Washington for so long, even if it is only a couple of hours away.
Speaking of Washington, how 'bout them Redskins? McNabb to Washington, and a competent head coach (sorry Jim Zorn) means we should be smacking the snot out of the Cryboys again, just like we did during the Joe Gibbs years.
I've developed a crippling addiction to Buz and Ned's Real Barbecue. I have to say it's the best barbecue I've ever had. You all in Maryland don't know what you're missing.
Um, yeah. That's it.

Personally, I hope they waste his talent so the Giants have an easier time in the division. Of course, if their defense is as banged up as much as last year, it won't matter anyway.
Another cool sports note for you, you should get to watch Strasburg this summer. Kid has stuff on top of his stuff. Filthy.
Sorry, I just had to say it. The G-Men have always prided themselves on tough D and giving up 30 or more points three times last season definitely wasn't a good look for them.
I've seen Strasburg pitch. He's awesome. I just don't want him to turn into the second coming of Mark Prior.
