Happy Fathers' Day, folks.
I don't have much time, but I guess it suffices to say I am thoroughly burned out and I still have a week to go. Granted, there were outside circumstances that contributed to that (such as the passing of my great grandfather and the funeral that happened this past Friday, which sat on my mind for the past two weeks). Still, too much work, not enough time to finish it.
I got some feedback from Anita Kunz, Sterling Hundley (who will be teaching my Senior Studio class next year at VCU - more on that later), and Robert Meganck on my "portfolio" of work (it's mostly just the stuff I post here, which is personal work that I do in my spare time). Hopefully I'll get a review from Jon Foster while he's here too. I'll have more on what they said once the academy is done. No spoilers!
I know vuvuzelas are supposed to symbolize South African pride, unity and spirit, but seriously, they sound like a herd of dying goats. I won't say FIFA needs to ban them, but it's kind of annoying having those things going off constantly for 90 minutes.
Stay classy, folks.

They sound more like a swarm of angry bees than dying goats when I watching the sport.
