"Contusion of the Greater Trochanter".
Also known by sports buffs as a "hip pointer".
Basically what happened was I was running to catch a bus (like an idiot) in the dark, stumbled on a concrete tire-stop and landed on the side of my hip. It's actually a part of the femur - the bony knob on the side where there isn't any soft tissue covering it.
So I have a bruised bone - a very painful one. I can't really put much weight on my leg without it going numb and feeling like it'll give in on me, so I have to walk around with a cane like an old hobbled man for the next four weeks or so.
At least it's not my drawing hand.

Also the greater DC area was generally spared from the snow-pocalypse. I do hope my friends north of me are getting by alright.
Stay classy, folks.

Lol crazy stuff you got going on! And ironic too. Heck, my cousin (14 years old, you know how they are!), four days before Christmas, was sledding down a big hill, hit a tree, and fractured his skull, broke his collar bone, and cracked his pelvis. Never broke a bone up until that point! You're not suppose to get hurt that time of year. He spent his Christmas in the hospital.
Anyways, he's doing fine, recovered real quick but is in a wheelchair, hope everything is fine with you too. I understood the trochanter part but not the "hip pointer", lol. <3 Never heard of that one before.
Take care!
Thanks dude!
Also, happy new year very soon.
I hope you get better soon!
