Locked n' Loaded

This was a goodwill commission that I did on behalf a friend who had some outstanding medical bills. The client wanted a depiction of his dwarf character, who wields a rifle with an axe bayonet attached to it. Part of the character concept was that his attire was that of a Roman legionary soldier.

Since the weapon is such a unique one concept-wise, I wanted to put a lot of emphasis on it through composition and value placement.
